Registration Fees: Advisory

Understanding Our Fees

We aim to provide a high quality academic conference service based in an attractive, prestigious and extremely convenient location in central London at the heart of the University quarter.

We are a fully independent organisation, run by enthusiasts for enthusiasts. We operate on tight financial margins indeed, and our costs are also heavily subsidised by the contribution of very high levels of voluntary labour on the part of our Organisers.

In view of these extremely generous hidden subsidies we regret that we are unable to offer financial assistance to participants. We consider proposals from Speakers on the understanding that they will be responsible for their own fee payment and additional costs.

What Our Fees Cover

You are welcome to register for the conference as a SPEAKER (if your Paper has been accepted) or as a DELEGATE (if you do not intend to offer a Paper).

The Conference Fee covers admission to all the events offered within the framework THE LONDON SYMPOSIUM 2015.

Your registration fee provides

- a handsome souvenir Conference bag and badge

- a hard copy of the substantial Conference Programme, including full publication of all Abstracts

- The opportunity to have your Paper considered for publication in the 2015 Conference Proceedings e-book, The London Reader 3 - The Cultures of the City.

Registration also covers breakfast tea, coffee, and pastries each day; morning coffee/biscuits and afternoon tea/biscuits each day, and admission to a Conference drinks reception with wine, soft drinks and canapes.

Enjoy your own choice of lunch at one of the many nearby cafes and restaurants - perhaps organising a picnic in a Bloomsbury park to enjoy what we hope will be the early summer sunshine! - at prices which are often lower than we could offer if we were to include this item in our registration package.

Certificates of Attendance

Subject to advance request, a Certificate of Attendance is available for collection by Speakers and Delegates at the close of the conference, or is sent on later by electronic means.
